CAD Solutions simplifies the process of computer aided dispatching for 911, fire departments, police departments and other law enforcement agencies. Record all information related to calls / incidents in a user-friendly environment. The Activity & Radio Log serves as “command central”, providing quick access to important records and displaying the status of all open incidents and officers on duty.
Dispatch
Dispatch multiple law enforcement agencies to a call simultaneously without exiting the Activity & Radio Log.
Automatic Call Number Generation
All officer times logged and tracked
Incident records can be created directly from a call in the Radio Log.
Export call info into an incident report.
EMS agencies can be set up as separate agencies or associated with the same agency under different “zones”.
Fire apparatuses can be automatically dispatched upon creation of fire calls.
Required equipment may be set up in advance to determine which apparatus are auto-dispatched.
Traffic Stops / Abandoned Vehicles
Tracks all traffic stop information including: officer, location, license plate number and state, vehicle description, and any subsequent miscellaneous log information regarding the stop.
Time flags may be set by the system administrator to warn the dispatcher to check on the officer when the pre-determined time has lapsed.
All info related to an abandoned vehicle can be tracked in a single incident.
Warrants
With the optional Warrants module, all active warrants are flagged in the ID File and displayed to the dispatcher.
The CAD user is shown the status of the warrant, issuing agency/court, date of issue, offence, and classification of the warrant.
Wrecker Rotation
Allows for two separate rotations for wreckers, categorized by wrecker type (heavy duty or regular) or geographic areas served.
Adult And Juvenile Subjects
Allows distinguishing of incidents involving juveniles.
Restrict access to records involving juveniles by setting up a permissions profile for each user.
Call Management And Management Reporting
Agencies and CAD users may be restricted by user permission levels as determined by the system administrator, so that each operator is seeing only the incidents they have permission to manage and only viewing report information for which they have permission.
Calls are managed by priorities (1-9).
User Security And Authorization
PTS Security and PW Authentication meet CJIS policy standards outlined in CJIS Security Policy-compliant security and password authentication.
User Administrators can set up a unique set of permissions and access rights for each user.
Agency System Administration
System Administrators set up agency-specific information and presets, including:
Call types and radio log types
User permisisons
Address information (including grid/beat areas)
Standard Operating Procedures
Reporting functions for nearly every bit of data collected
Interfaces
E911 Server: Interfaces PTS CAD to client’s existing 911 ALI equipment. With this configuration, ALI information from 911 calls is automatically displayed in a new call window for each answered 911 call.
Mapping: Microsoft Map Point, EZ 911 Solutions, and GeoComm. Active incidents may be displayed on the utilized map viewer, and often, ALI location as well.
State Interface: NCIC and DMV (license and operators information) can be accessed over the client’s existing connection to their state control point.
PTS CAD also directly interfaces with PTS Incident Solutions (RMS) and other PTS modules (Jail, Court). All of our products are designed to work together seamlessly.
